Passing the Torch: Strategies for Seamless Leadership Succession

We will have a senior leaders present from many different industries. There will be a facilitated discussion as well as open forum for leaders to have Q&A or share from experience. The Round Table will be held virtually and extend over one hour. Possible subtopics for this discussion may include:
  • Effective methods for evaluating current leadership talent, and tools or assessments that aid in identifying potential successors.

  • The impact of mentorship programs on leadership development, and training initiatives that contribute to leadership readiness.

  • The role of diversity in building a resilient leadership pipeline, and the pros and cons of promoting from within versus external hires.

  • The development of contingency plans for unexpected gaps in leadership, and navigating interim leadership solutions.

  • Effective communication strategies for addressing leadership changes, and best practices for ensuring a smooth transferring critical knowledge from outgoing to incoming leaders.

  • Providing a platform for leaders to share challenges faced in succession planning, and celebrating success stories and lessons learned from successful leadership transitions.
