Recommendation Letter for Stockton's International Model UN Travel Team
You have been selected by the student identified in your email message to submit a recommendation letter in support of their application for Stockton's Model UN International Travel Team attending the National Model UN (NMUN) conference in Erfurt, Germany in November 2023. More information about this experience is available on the Stockton Model UN website. Students on this team will travel to Germany and represent Stockton University and the United States. We welcome students from all majors to apply. In fact, we actively encourage students without experience in Model UN and little knowledge of international politics to apply!

All letters will be kept confidential by our selection committee.

DEADLINE: See the Stockton Model UN website

FUNDING: This team is funded by the Presidential Initiative and the only cost for students will be meals and personal expenses (estimated at $200-300 for 8 days of travel). The mandate for this fully funded opportunity is to provide students who would otherwise not have the opportunity to participate in this learning experience and also to provide this opportunity to students who will benefit and exhibit the greatest growth across several essential learning outcomes (ELOs). We feel strongly that students from all majors are equally qualified. Our underlying philosophy is that tackling global issues requires people from all disciplines to participate in political forums like the UN and that the skills students develop in Model UN translate to all disciplines.
