Springfield Honors Academy                          Admissions Application
Dear Applicant,

The Springfield Honors Academy (SHA) welcomes your interest in our program of studies and commends you on your initiative to apply.

In order for your application to be considered complete;
~ All areas of this application will need to be completed
~ We will need to receive and review your academic record (for students coming from private or out-of-district schools, we may ask for your/your family's support in receiving your most recent report card or transcript that includes attendance and discipline data)
~ We will need to request, receive and review your school counselor and teacher recommendations.

Students who apply to this highly selective program should be able to demonstrate a strong ability, aptitude, and genuine interest in learning; an intellectual curiosity and self-motivation; the highest academic and personal integrity; and an aspiration to become a member of a community of learners.

Please note that the number of seats available for the program is limited and submitting an application is no guarantee of admission. 

Students whose applications are complete will then move forward to the review stage which includes an in- person interview with the candidate. Your admissions decision will be made shortly after this takes place.
