Proposal Submission IDEA-CON 2020
Thank you for your interest in supporting the first IDEA-CON, an online conference for teachers, administrators, and teacher educators. We value your expertise, and we hope you'll contribute to make this conference the first of a new conference model for educators in our region and state.

The conference will use an online platform for a combination of pre-recorded and live presentations accompanied by an active Facebook Group for follow-ups, live interactions, and live door prizes.  Renewal credits will be provided, and there will be no charge for this conference.

Our working timeline for conference planning is as follows:
- June 12: Deadline for proposals submitted via Google Form.
- June 24: Completion of proposal reviews and final notifications to presenters.
- July 10: Editing and uploading of submitted videos begins.
- July 30-31: Begin the conference - includes live/synchronous portions.

We will work with presenters to provide tech support and assist in the editing and submission of their final videos.  Contributed talks should be 20-30 minutes in length, and they can be connected to an opportunity for live Q&A via Facebook Group.  Also, you may submit a proposal for a panel discussion, in which case the length of time may be adjusted.  Be creative and thoughtful in your conceptualizations of your presentations; with an online format, engaging, informative, and well organized are key!
