Vendor Application 2024
The Westside Farmers market is proud to bring quality local products into our diverse urban community. All vendors must come from within 100 miles of Rochester and we especially encourage neighbors growing food in the Southwest area of Rochester to apply to vend at the market. 

We are a producer only market, no re-sellers are allowed, with limited exceptions. The market volunteers operate a co-op booth which supplements the products brought by vendors, all of which are sourced from local and sustainable sources.

The Westside Farmers Market attempts to offer a good variety of product to consumers without creating extra competition between vendors. In keeping with that goal, there is a possibility that some vendors will not be accepted for this season.

ONCE APPLICATIONS AND ACCEPTANCES ARE COMPLETE, A COMMITMENT TO THE MARKET SHOULD BE MADE BY MARCH 15.

Vendor Fees: Full-season @ $150.00, payable in full, or in 2 payments of $75.00 each

or…$15.00 per week with a commitment to agreed-upon dates (not preferred)

All vendor spaces have 10’ frontage, if you require more, an additional space must be rented!

Market Dates: Tuesday Evenings June 4 - October 8

Market Hours: 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Set up will begin between 2:30 PM and 3:00 PM. All vendors are expected to be ready to sell by 4:00 PM.

Please honor your commitment to these dates. Let the market manager know of any dates you might not be able to attend in advance of those dates. Absent vendors make for disappointed shoppers.

If you are selling meat, cheese, baked goods, beer, wine, spirits, please provide (along with your application) any required permits/licenses or certificates from NYS. Vendors who have not supplied these documents by opening day will not be allowed to set up. If you are selling taxable items provide proof of valid NYS sales tax certificates. All vendors must also show proof of liability insurance, general aggregate of $2,000,000.00 naming St. Monica Church, 19th Ward Community Association, and Westside Farmers Market additionally insured.  You will also be expected to complete a “Hold Harmless” form for St. Monica Church.
