About the Mark Richards 'Gift of Hope' Program
We are extremely honoured to have Mark's Mum, Anne Richards, as the patron of A Stitch in Time, and we don't feel there is a more appropriate way we can acknowledge Anne's support by remembering Mark's legacy. In 2009, tragically died by suicide, and we hope through this program, we are able to educate sporting clubs and their members on the importance of mental health and give them the tools that is required to manage their wellbeing.

This program is FREE to sporting clubs and will include the following services:
1) Provision of a ‘Mental Health & Wellbeing’ E-Learning Program (5 modules) in partnership with the club.
2) Provision of a workshop to athletes: 5 Key Areas to Combating Stress.
3) Provision of a workshop to coaches. This is equipping the coaches/volunteers with the tools required to identify signs and symptoms relating to individuals dealing with mental health conditions
4) Assist with the club with a development of a collaborative support system for that club; this may include SafeTALK training, Mental Health Round and ongoing training and support.

This program is LIMITED to FIVE sporting clubs and will require an application process.
Please complete the application form and a member of our team will make contact with you shortly. If you have any questions please drop us a note on admin@stitchintime.org.au
