The Media Mob Awards is an exciting opportunity for church media teams and creative individuals alike to be recognized for their work in 2023. Churches will be recognized for their work in social media, videography, photography, & website design. Individuals will be recognized for their work in videography, photography, & graphic design.

I acknowledge by submitting my entry ("Submission") for the Media Mob Awards (“Awards”), I give Southeastern California Conference of Seventh-day Adventists (“SECC”) the rights to use the Submission as detailed in the Official Rules.

In consideration of being permitted to participate in the Program, I agree to the following:

I. I agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless SECC, its officers, employees, and agents, (hereafter collectively “Releasees”) from any and all claims, demands, costs, actions, losses, damages, judgments and/or liabilities, including attorney’s fees, brought as a result of my involvement in this Awards Contest, whether caused by the negligence of Releasees or otherwise.

II. I release, waive, discharge, and covenant not to sue the Releasees from and against any and all claims for damages and/or liability, including claims for negligence against the Releasees resulting in personal injury, accidents or illnesses (including death), and property loss arising from, but not limited to, my participation in the Program.

III. SECC is not responsible for any claim(s) involving copyright or trademark infringement and/or payment of any royalty related to the Submission or contents therein. Entrants are also responsible for their own insurance, if applicable, and are not covered by SECC’s liability policies

By entering this Awards Contest, you represent that the Submission complies with the Awards Official Rules and entry guidelines and that:

I. You are authorized to submit this Submission and that all clearances, licenses, and releases necessary for use and public display or broadcast of the Submission have been granted and agree that you will indemnify and hold harmless Releasees for any liabilities and expenses in connection with any claims based on any Submission submitted by you for the Awards.

II. At the time of Submission or any time thereafter, your Submission does not contravene any contractual, legal or other obligation;

III. At the time of Submission or any time thereafter, your Submission does not infringe the intellectual property rights of any third party;

IV. Your entry does not contain any profane, pornographic, obscene, or defamatory materials;

V. Use of the entry by SECC, as contemplated by the Awards Official Rules, will not infringe any copyrights, rights of publicity or any other rights of any person, living or dead; and

VI. You have complied with all relevant laws, rules, and regulations in the production of your entry.

You understand that use of the Submission may be displayed, reproduced, distributed, and modified for use by SECC on seccadventist.org at any time, where it may be freely accessible to the general public. You also acknowledge and agree that SECC may post your submissions on any or all of SECC’s social media pages or channels, where they may be freely accessible to the general public.

In consideration for your participation in the Contest, you, on behalf of yourself and the participants listed in the entry form, hereby grant SECC a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual (for the duration of the applicable copyright), sub-licensable, and transferable license to exercise the rights in your video entry as stated below:

I. to reproduce the entry;

II. to create and reproduce derivative works of the entry;

III. to distribute copies of, display publicly, perform publicly, and perform publicly by means of a digital audio transmission the entry and any derivative works of the entry, all without attribution or compensation to you and/or your successors or assigns.
