The Pierson Summer
Art Workshops 2019

Dear Parents and Students,

The Pierson Summer Art Workshops were created to supply additional opportunities for our students to have authentic hands on art making experiences. The workshops take place beginning July 15 through August 29. They are available at no expense to all Sag Harbor Schools students entering grades 3-12 in September. All workshops will take place at Pierson High School or Sag Harbor Elementary. The Donald Reutershan Educational trust has provided funding for the program.

Each workshop is associated with a particular discipline, medium or age group. They will be presented by district faculty and Reutershan Trust visiting artists.

Because of limited space and significant demand, participation is on a first come first serve basis. The only requirements are that you commit to attending all the sessions of your selected workshop and that you provide your own transportation to and from school. Students may sign up for multiple workshops appropriate to their grade level.

A brief description of each workshop follows along with their dates and time. If you are interested in participating you can sign up online by filling out the online registration /permission form. We will contact you in the next several weeks to confirm your enrollment and provide additional information.
