New Degree BFA in Design, Interaction Design (IXD). The BFA in Design, Interaction Design blends User Interface Design (UI) and User Experience Design (UX) with traditional design practices. The IXD program at KU stresses the principles of visual communication and the creation of digital products, interfaces, and immersive environments, the program emphasizes a human-centered and applied design approach. We need to get an idea of who wants to move to Interaction Design and who wants to stay in Visual Communication Design. We can look at your graduation plan anytime. After April 1 there will be a form to officially move from VISC to IXD. If you are staying in VISC you won't need to do anything.
