Summer Session III Intergroup Dialogue Course Interest
HASS & The Archer Center for Student Leadership Development will be offering a co-facilitated 4 credit intergroup dialogue (IGD) course during Summer Session III (July 11th - August 19th, meeting M, T, Th, F 1:30-3:35pm). In this course, students will navigate difficult conversations about social power, oppression, and systemic injustice as it relates to identity. The purpose of IGD is to facilitate dialogue across differences to foster understanding of issues, deepen empathy, and build common ground. We will also explore dialogue facilitation skills students can utilize in their Arch away experiences.

Please answer the following questions regarding your interest in enrolling in the intergroup dialogue course this summer, some information about yourself, as well as your interest in becoming a HASS Inquiry Peer Mentor in the future (intergroup dialogue training is required to be a Peer Mentor. This course will fulfill that requirement).

If you have any questions or need more information, please email Amy Corron (corroa@rpi.edu) and Christopher Jeansonne (jeansc@rpi.edu)
