The LBSS PTSA is pleased to offer the opportunity to apply for this scholarship to all LBSS students graduating in 2024:

• SIX - $1,000 Scholarships
  

Applicant Qualifications:

• Applicant must be a Senior at Lake Braddock Secondary School
• Applicant must be a current PTSA Membership and joined by December 1st, 2023
• Applicant must plan to continue their education at a 2- or 4-year accredited college, vocational or technical school, or other accredited post-secondary program for the school year beginning in Fall 2024.
• Applicant must have demonstrated responsibility, character, and leadership during their high school career – to include activities in and outside of school; awards received and leadership roles; employment and volunteer service, etc.

Scholarship Application Submission:
Please complete the following form by May 6th, 2024.

• Application Form completed with student and parent signatures
• Essay Response Form (paragraph format)
• Activities sheet or resume detailing school and community service/activities, achievements, and employment experiences
• No incomplete applications will be accepted.

Scholarship Tuition Payments:

• PTSA Scholarship recipients will be announced at the June Senior Awards Ceremony.
• PTSA Scholarship Payments will be applied to recipient’s post-secondary tuition as soon as possible, but no later than December 31, 2024.
