At Dakota Child and Family Clinic, we believe that parents and caregivers are the most important educators in the lives of their children. The Parent and Caregiver Education group is designed to support you and provide resources for sexual health education. This support will be available in two parts: two virtual webinars and one in-person meeting. The Parent and Caregiver Education group is intended to build sexual health literacy with parents and caregivers in order to bravely step into tough conversations with their children and young adults.

Virtual Group Webinars: Monday, May 22, 2023 (5:00pm to 6:00pm) and Monday, May 29,2023 (5:00pm to 6:00pm)

• The virtual webinars will provide parents and caregivers with comprehensive and medically accurate information to be a confident and informed parent educator, to raise sexually healthy children, and to empower their youth’s decision-making. 
• Participating parents and caregivers will also have access to trusted community partners and virtual learning resources with clear communication and messaging regarding their family’s sexual health values. 

• The in-person group will be held at Dakota Child and Family Clinic (DCFC). This is a judgment-free zone for parents and caregivers to have open conversations with other participants and exchange resources to ease conversation with their youth. 

• For parents and caregivers who are uncomfortable with in-person sessions, you may request a virtual 1:1 support session with the DCFC Sexual Health Coordinator.
