CSCW 2021 Research Registration
As CSCW will be all-online again this year, there are opportunities to conduct research at and on the conference itself. You must submit your project by July 30, 2021 at the latest.

Overall, all research at CSCW 2021 must follow three basic guidelines:

1) All projects must have ethical approval or exemption from the project lead’s IRB/ethics review committee or equivalent for any human research.

2) Before the conference, each project must provide an overall ethics statement covering all human subjects research activity, including research involving public social media data.

3) All results and (if practical) data collected at CSCW should benefit the CSCW community directly. Any papers written from conference research must be submitted to CSCW as a first target venue (if appropriate for publication at CSCW).

To facilitate and coordinate this research, this year community members must register their projects with the Meta co-chairs, who will monitor ethical approval/research conduct, facilitate smooth deployment, and identify any conflicting/overlapping projects in service of suggesting and enabling broader research partnerships.
