Due to COVID-19 the University of Alaska is moving classes online & students out of campus residence halls. There is one confirmed and contained case in Alaska, this visitor is already in quarantine; so many places are taking precautions beforehand. Because of these unfortunate events & with many travel restrictions, expensive flights to rural AK, and potential cases of catching COVID-19 it may not be possible for UA students to return home. Some exceptions may apply to certain students who have no where else to go to remain on campus. This form is to help students relocate to temporary housing if they are searching to be relocated. Filling out this form means you are accepting this process. This is a community organized effort, with no connections to UA faculty.

Since there is currently 69 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Alaska among residents, if anyone shows signs of illness we ask you to get checked immediately and avoid physical interactions with other people.

Those who have created this form will ensure that these potential locations & students are safe people, and we will run minimal background checks, online searches, and social media accounts ensuring they are not a registered sex offender, have a criminal background, have a warrant out, ect. Your safety is utmost priority!!
