Survey on Access to research and research education in medical curricula for medical students worldwide
Background:
For centuries, Research has led to the advancement of science and innovations. It is what backs up all arguments, be it involving our human body or talking about the medical education systems. IFMSA firmly believes that research and research education should be made accessible and available to medical students worldwide. Medical education systems around the world should recognize research as an integral part of their medical curriculum. This survey aims to assess the exposure of medical students worldwide to research education and research opportunities, their satisfaction with research in their medical curriculum, and the research competencies received through their university.
