Junior Savage League is Tuesday Nights February 28-April 18th The League is for young players in grades K-4. This is a developmental league with the focus on learning the game and development of skills for young players. The format will will be 10-15 of skills development followed by 35 minute Live 4 on 4 play game with Coach point guard option. We will use youth basketballs and lower rim to increase success for all players. The goal is to have fun and learn the game and develop the skills necessary to grow in the sport. The league will be broken into 2 parts.
Beginner: 7ft rim and new to the sport. Generally k-2nd
Intermediate: 8ft rim and some experience. Generally 2-4 graders.
- Each player will be placed on a team at appropriate or requested level.
- Every player will be given a Junior Savage team jersey. (We do accept community teams and are looking for parent volunteers to coach the teams.)
- Each team will get 8 weeks of games. And professional instruction from experience Savage Basketball staff.
