Alyson Gibbons was a member of the AFC Hiltingbury committee for many years in the position of Child Welfare Officer and key to the success of the tournaments and presentation events throughout her tenure. Her boundless enthusiasm was infectious while her ability to organise those around her ensured whatever she was involved with was a success. During these events Alyson was often joined by her family (husband Andy and children James & Katie) who all followed Alyson's example to help wherever it was needed.

Alyson sadly passed away on 5th November 2021. As a club we have created an award in Alyson's name. This award will be nominated for by anyone who wishes to and be awarded to someone who, as a volunteer, has contributed to the club in some way.
