Q Christian Fellowship - Young Adult Mentorship Pod (2024-25)
Q Christian Fellowship aims to explore affirming and accessible theological formation while mentoring college students and young adults who are LGBTQ+ and allies. We are seeking young adults who are LGBTQ+ Christians and allies who are looking for an opportunity for mentorship in community building! We are excited to offer six spots to young adults (ages 18-28) who are LGBTQ+ Christians or allies and are interested in cultivating LGBTQ+ affirming spaces on their local campus and/or community. You will have the opportunity to build relationships with other young adults across the country and participate in theological and leadership formation.
Participants in this program will receive mentorship, regular pod check-ins, theological and faith formation, and a registration scholarship to the 2025 Q Christian Fellowship Conference.

Applications are requested by July 1, 2024. Interviews with applicants will be scheduled on a rolling basis.

Pod will begin late summer-early fall 2024 with a mandatory orientation.
  • The mentorship program will run for the entirety of the 2024-2025 academic year (Sept-May)
  • Applicants must be between the ages of 18-28, and reside in the United States

As part of the program, learning pod participants will be expected to fulfill the following commitments:

  • 3x semester virtual check-ins with fellow pod members (90 mins each)
  • 6x semester virtual mentorship meetings with QCF Mentor (45-60 mins each)
  • Ambassadorship on Campus / in local community (host small groups, events, etc. supported by QCF)
  • Affinity gathering leadership (For example, LGBTQ+ College Students gathering) at 2025 QCF Conference
  • Fulfill a volunteer role at 2025 QCF Conference (prayer, worship, etc.)

2024 QCF Conference Attendance

The QCF Conference provides a valuable opportunity to connect with other LGBTQ+ young adults across the country.

At the 2024 Conference, pod members will participate in the following ways:

  • Affinity gathering leadership (For example, LGBTQ+ College Students gathering) at 2024 QCF Conference
  • Fulfill a volunteer role at 2024 QCF Conference (prayer, worship, etc.)

If selected to participate in this program, you will receive the following:

  • Conference registration for January 2025 QCF Conference.
  • Group mentorship and as-needed 1:1 leadership coaching.
