Welcome to Biology, the study of life!  This is going to be a very productive and fun year for you all. Biology is a yearlong course that is a core requirement for high school graduation. Students enrolled in this course are required to take and score a passing grade on the STARR End Of Course (EOC) assessment as part of their graduation requirement.  This year you will be challenged to develop 21st century skills that are in high demand by employers and beneficial to your post-secondary goals. We will work on developing scientific skills that are essential to your success in all aspects of this course as well as your future courses.  The following includes important information about our classroom policies and procedures.
