They're Not all Cool Cats!

We're so conditioned to think of cats as aloof, loners and uncaring, that when they face emotional or behavioural problems it comes as a shock! Punishing a cat for inappropriate behaviour is never the solution. They are complicated creatures, so first try and get to the root of the problem.

A few quick tips to check around the house

Cats are sensitive to strong odours, so eliminate strongly scented floor cleaners & scented cat litters

For single house cats who spend time alone try music for cats - classical music, maybe your cat likes pop! Experiment, but keep volumes low, remember cats have one the broadest hearing ranges of any mammal!

Spending on cats toys? Try cardboard boxes, create tunnels and corners for them to hide & play your cat will thank you.
