Thank you for joining us in this storytelling project to let your voice be heard

Who we are:  A coalition of organizations is launching a powerful storytelling project that aims to shed light on experiences with harassment, Hazing, and bullying in schools The organizations include the Vermont Human Rights Commission, Education Justice Coalition of Vermont, Outright Vermont, Neighbors for a Safer St. Albans, The Root Social Justice Center, ACLU of Vermont, Rutland County NAACP, Vermont Center for Independent Living, All Brains Belong, Youth 4 Change, and the Vermont Student Anti-Racism Network.

What is this for?

Your responses will play a crucial role in advocating for change in your local school community and schools statewide. Our ultimate goal is to ensure the implementation of policies that protect students of all backgrounds and identities.  This project seeks to raise awareness about the impact of these negative behaviors and advocate for positive change within schools statewide. We believe that by sharing collective stories, we can create connections and validation that support a healing process for affected students.

Who can fill this out?

Students and parents/caregivers can participate. We are actively seeking the stories of students who have been subjected to hazing, bullying, or harassment. Experiences can be shared directly by students themselves or by their parents/caregivers.
