Chandler Parents Basketball Facilities Use Agreement

Chandler School is first and foremost an educational institution. The primary role of the school is to serve the academic program and related internal programming.

This Facilities Use Agreement (“Agreement”) is made as of the date of submission by and between CHANDLER SCHOOL (“School”) and the undersigned user  (“User”) (collectively “Parties”) with respect to the facilities located at 1005 ARMADA DRIVE, PASADENA, CA, 91103, as further described in this Agreement.        

In consideration of the School entering into this Agreement with User and as a condition of said Agreement; User agrees to forever indemnify, defend and hold harmless the School from and against any and all claims, suits, actions, costs, expenses, judgments or decrees, demands of liability, loss or damage, including attorney’s fees, whether direct or consequential, on account of any loss, injury, death or damage to any person or persons or property (including without limitation) all officers, agents and employees of User and the School and all property regardless of who may be the owner of the property, arising in whole or in part or in any way from act, omission, event or work in any way connected with or relating to the use of the School performed by User.  The defense of any such claims, suits, and demands shall be by attorneys acceptable to the School and the fees and expenses for such attorneys and other necessary expenses incurred with any action or defense necessary to protect itself paid by User.

The Parties agree that User may use the Permit Area solely for the Purpose set forth in this form.  User acknowledges and shall ensure that they shall remain only on the Permit Areas and will not enter any School building or area of the School other than the Permitted Area.  User may not bring guests, family members, or any other invitee or onto the campus.

Activity Date and Hours: Chandler Parent Basketball, each Wednesday on full school days (not including: early dismissal days, breaks, and any other date the School wishes) from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Parties understand that there is to be no early arrival and no late departures and that school programming may consume portions of the aforementioned time for any reason and without warning or notice. No “make up” or “extra time” will be offered or permitted.

Activity & Purpose: Permitted use is solely for the parents of Chandler School students to play basketball with other parents of Chandler School students. No food or liquids are allowed in the gym (water must be kept in the trophy room or outside). Any trash or debris must be cleaned up prior to 8:00 PM. No on-campus parking is provided and User should enter and exit the property via the Armada Drive entrance during the Activity Date and Hours.

Facilities to be Used (“Permit Area”): Chandler School Gym basketball court (G Building) and associated adult restroom and direct path of travel between the Armada Drive entrance and the Gym entrance. User agrees to bring their own equipment. Facilities are provided "as-is".

Permission to use the Permit Area in whole or in part may be revoked by the School or its agents for any reason and any time without notice or warning.

Finally, it is understood and agreed that the User thereby agrees to hold harmless and waive rights of recovery from the School and its employees, officers or agents for any damage to or loss of property of applicant, their family, or 3rd party.
