Hawaiʻi ʻUlu Co-op and UH CTAHR are partnering to conduct a
cassava variety trial in order to help identify the best varieties for local production and processing to increase food security in Hawaiʻi. Varieties will be grown out in Hilo, Hawaiʻi Island and evaluated for productivity, resistance to pests and diseases, and quality from both a commercial processing and consumption standpoint.
If you are interested in contributing plant material towards this trial, please fill out this interest form by January 6th, 2023. Once we receive your submission, we will follow up to coordinate a cutting delivery date and location.
