Osaka JALT - Back to School 2021
Language teachers and learners of all nationalities, ages, backgrounds, and contexts are invited to submit proposals for presentations for our 11th annual spring mini-conference on language teaching and learning. Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic we will again hold this event online, this year on Sunday, May 9.

Though not essential, we're encouraging everyone to submit a recording of their presentations ahead of time so as to minimize technical challenges during the event, and so that we can post them on our website more easily. More than one submission per person is welcome, and we plan to have 5-10 minutes of live Q&A after each presentation.

In addition to 10-minute, 20-minute, and 30-minute sessions, we also welcome panel discussions or other presentation formats of other lengths as requested.

This year’s event is again co-sponsored by Osaka Jogakuin University's Research Institute of Intercultural Collaboration and Coexistence Research on Language Learning (RIICC). Information provided in proposal submissions will be used only for the purposes of this event.

The deadline for presentation proposals is midnight (23:59:59) Japan time on Sunday, April 4, 2021, with recordings to be sent by midnight on Sunday, May 2. We welcome participants from anywhere in cyberspace and look forward to what is sure to be a great day together!
