Dear GliMR Member

During this GP, we have been working on the development of an animation video to inform our patients about the reuse of medical data for scientific research. This video is being developed in 17 languages (list below) and will be disseminated at the end of the Brain Tumor Awareness Week (4-5 November).

BUT WE NEED YOUR HELP!

In order to reach as many healthcare institutions, patient organisations and other relevant stakeholders as possible, we want to ask you to help us spread the video within your country. We are currently preparing a webpage and an e-mail, which you can use to reach this goal, and aim to have these translated in time.

HOW YOU CAN HELP GliMR:
We would like to ask for some information on who you can contact, including country and (healthcare) center or institution (see below). This can be the DPO of your institution, a contact person within a patient organisation, the head of a medical society, the national data protection authority, but also think about conferences, journals, politicians, or other stakeholders.

Know that, although glioma is used as a case sample, the video is relevant for ALL patients and all types of medical data. Below, you can find a list of GliMR country members compliant with GDPR. Centers within these countries are the main targets for this campaign, but the video can be disseminated in other countries as well.
