Welcome to the JMSS Community!
We are excited to welcome you to JMSS!  Joining a new school is an exciting time for students as well as for their parents, and it often takes time to learn how the school runs (i.e. how the school communicates with families, runs school events, hosts meetings etc.).

An exciting program exists at JMSS to help new families navigate their first year here:

                                                  JMSS Parent Mentorship Program

The purpose of the Parent Mentorship Program is to welcome new families to JMSS and provide them with a Parent Mentor Volunteer.  Mentors are parents whose children currently attend JMSS. They will explain the "workings of our school" and answer your questions as they arise throughout the year.

Parent Mentors will contact new families through email.  If you would like an assigned mentor,  please provide your NAME and EMAIL ADDRESS below.   (JMSS Council will use the email address provided to contact the mentee and, with permission, it will be shared with your assigned mentor. If you have any questions or concerns, please email jennifer_l_roberts@hotmail.com.)
We will do our best to contact new families in the language of their choosing.  Please indicate your preferred language of communication.
