The Center for Diversity and Inclusion (CDI) is excited to highlight some the amazing students who are a part of the T-Bird family. This year we will continue to our Student of the Month initiative where outstanding students can be nominated and featured throughout the month.

Nominations are accepted from any SUU faculty, staff, or student. Winners will be chosen by the CDI team and will be recognized physically in the CDI, in the electronic newsletter, and will be awarded a food from a restaurant of their choosing.

Guidelines:
The CDI exists to validate the multiple identities present on campus while integrating the voices and experiences of marginalized people. As a center, we aim create an inclusive, safe, and welcoming campus community where identities are not only validated but also celebrated. If you know an outstanding student who exemplifies this mission, nominate them here!

The student of the month nominee should demonstrates the qualities of a leader, exemplify the CDI’s mission, and actively promotes the center’s message of inclusivity. These qualities can be represented in various forms including (but not limited to):

Academic Achievement/Improvement
Civility towards others
Service and/or Involvement (on or off campus)
Personal Achievements
Other Leadership Qualities
