We encourage anyone that considers themselves part of St Gabriel's to join the church electoral roll. Simply put, its a list of people that can vote in church meetings to appoint or stand as church wardens and church council members, (PCC). We also send the list to the diocese so they can get an idea of the size of our church. It's an important part of our church structure and by having a good representation of our church on the electoral roll, we can insure this is also continued in our leaders represented in the PCC.
To apply to be on the electoral roll, you need to be aged 16 or over and to have been baptised.
You also need either to live in the Parish or have worshipped at the church for at least six months. If you're currently 15, you can complete the form and we will add you on your 16th birthday. If you're not sure what a parish is or if you live in our one, head to
achurchnearyou.com and type in your postcode into the search box. The results will show you your nearest Church of England churches, one of these will say "this is the parish church".
Data marked as required is legally necessary for us to add you to the roll, the other stuff just helps us know a bit more about you.
