Jesus and the Jewish Roots of the Eucharist: Unlocking the Secrets of the Last Supper

Author: Dr. Brant Pitre, Distinguished Research Professor of Scripture at The Augustine Institute

Jesus and the Jewish Roots of the Eucharist looks at the roots of the Last Supper through a historical Jewish lens. Author Dr. Brant Pitre uncovers the real meaning behind Jesus' words “Take, eat, this is my body” through interpretation of the historical Jewish context.

Inspiring and informative, Jesus and the Jewish Roots of the Eucharist is a groundbreaking work that is sure to illuminate one of the greatest mysteries of the Christian faith: the mystery of Jesus’ presence in “the breaking of the bread.”
