Central Vancouver Island Multicultural Society Fringe Artist Sponsorship Application

CVIMS is offering up to 5 bursaries for Newcomer/Cultural artists in the Mid Island region participating in the 2020 Nanaimo Fringe Festival. If your show is selected in the Fringe Festival lottery draw on March 3rd, 2020, artists are required to pay a $200 participation fee within 7 days. CVIMS is offering bursaries, based on need, for successful applicants to cover the cost of this fee.

Please complete the form below and submit along with your lottery application, by February 28th 2020, to be considered for this financial assistance program. Successful applicants will be notified by March 6th, 2020, and fees will be paid directly to the Nanaimo Fringe Festival on your behalf.

Please note: Fringe artists receive 100% of their show's Box Office revenue.
