Native plant stickers and tree hang tags - Plant NOVA Natives

Thank you for volunteering to help your neighbors identify and purchase native plants and trees!

This form is for confirming participation and requesting red "Northern Virginia Native" and "Virginia Native" stickers and tree hang tags to place on native plants and trees at garden centers. Bob Landsman is the volunteer who will mail these materials to the address you provide below (thank you, Bob!). You should receive your materials in 1-2 weeks.

Note: Plant NOVA Natives funds these materials and postage from donations. If you would like to make a donation (entirely optional), please use the Give button on the bottom of our website at plantnovanatives.org.

Do you need more stickers or hang tags?
Clear selection
Northern Virginia Native stickers
How many do you need?  (4/5 of the plants we sticker are Northern Virginia natives.) Please provide a number based on an estimate of how many you will use this season, or if this is your first time, just write "starter pack"
Virginia Native stickers
How many do you need?  (Only 1/5 of the plants we sticker need these.) Please provide a number based on an estimate of how many you will use this season, or if this is your first time, just write "starter pack"
Tree hang tags
How many do you need?
If your assigned garden center needs additional copies of the "Native Plants for Northern Virginia" book to sell, please note the store name and how many they would like.
We recommend checking with the store manager once during each season, or if you notice they have run out.
Are you interested in being the lead volunteer at your site?
This would involve coordinating among 2-4 volunteers, communicating with the garden center manager regarding timing of new shipments of natives, and communicating with the volunteer program organizers as needed.
Feedback: How has stickering plants and tagging trees been going for you?
Please note what's working well and suggest any improvements to the program here. You can also reach out to Katherine Camp with feedback at any time. Thanks!
Do you have any tips to share with other volunteers?
About how much time did you spend putting on stickers and hang tags last season?  How frequently did you go to the garden center for this purpose?  How often do you plan to go this season?
This information will help us tell new volunteers what to expect.
Do you track or report your volunteer hours?  If so, for what program?
Such as Fairfax Master Naturalist, etc.
