2021 Bloomberg Arts Internship Partner Application
The  Bloomberg Arts Internship (BAI) is a seven-week program, running June 28 - August 13, that partners with arts and culture organizations in Greater Philadelphia to provide valuable internship opportunities to rising high school seniors. The Cultural Alliance conducts a rigorous application and interview process to match our worksites with candidates whose skills and passions match their unique needs and mission.

In addition to completing daily tasks as assigned, all interns are also responsible for completing worksite projects, which are planned and implemented with support from worksite supervisors. The worksite project is a crucial link between BAI's professional development curriculum and the worksite experience. As a part of the onboarding process, worksites will be required submit an intern work plan, outlining key projects, timelines and goals for their interns.

In 2021, the Cultural Alliance expects that most of our worksite partners will host their interns remotely and can provide technology resources to interns as needed. We also understand that, as circumstances evolve, some worksites may be ready to safely bring interns on site, and we will facilitate conversations with interns and their parents to coordinate that opportunity.

Through participation in the program, worksite partners are matched with talented, enthusiastic interns whose wages are fully covered by the program for 21-hours a week, and receive a $750 stipend per intern placed with their organization. Most partners place two interns, but can hire more or less depending on capacity and needs. Additional benefits for worksite partners include a robust support system, DEI training, networking opportunities, and supervisor background checks, provided at no cost.

In addition to providing an internship opportunity, organizations can participate in half-day Deep Dive organizational explorations or host a virtual cultural immersion activity, also for a stipend of $500.

Worksite applications are open from January 4 - March 26
