Hiking the West Side Trails
Oct 15 (Sun)

Join Harris Center trustees and local hiking enthusiasts Denise Zimmer and Tara Kessler for an autumn hike of the Harris Center’s West Side Trails to Skatutakee and Thumb Mountains. This 4.5-mile loop hike includes one steep, rocky section and has an elevation gain of just over 1,000 feet. Along the way, we’ll see a series of wood carvings by local artist Jack McWhorter and enjoy amazing views of peak fall foliage. Meet at the Harris Center’s upper parking lot at 10 a.m. Back by 2 p.m. For more information, contact Denise or Tara.
