Camp Genius was created by Producer, DeevoDaGenius, as a means of bringing together elite-level/driven producers and artists in the Massachusetts creative community for a 4-hour studio session consisting of 5 40-minute producer/artist demo workshops.
Attendees consist of 3 featured producers, 10 hand-selected artists, and up to 40 hand selected spectators. Artists will work alongside producers to create as potent of a record as possible for the 40 minute time limit expires. Upon expiration artists will cycle room to repeat the process. The final workshop will consist of creating a cypher beat in which all producers will create 3 different beats at the same tempo, and record each artist over their respective beat. The night will end after artists engage in a content shooting session, where there'll shoot promotional assets to the strongest demos made throughout the night.
The purpose of this event is to improve the efficiency of all artists and producers involved in the skill of creating, performing, and promoting a full song under pressure. The purpose of the event is to also provide a networking opportunity for seasoned and driven individuals in the New England Creative community.
