DISCLAIMER:
The Bio-Med Program is a program of choice. Students will participate in an accelerated program at a premier high school. Bio-Med is not a magnet program and transportation would need to be provided by the parents should the student require a special transfer. USD259 does have a partnership with Wichita Transit where students can utilize a city bus to get to school for a small yearly fee or free in many cases! Students not in the North High attendance area will need permission to leave their base high school. This permission can be denied by the sending school and this decision will be supported by the Bio-Med Program. Students are required to maintain a 3.0 GPA and take Honors/AP courses while in the Bio-Med program. Bio-Med will take up BOTH a science class and an elective class. Application is due no later than Saturday, JANUARY 20, 2024.
