The fine print.
We will not share your personal information. However, we will share the provided photos to promote you and our event.
We will not allow the sale of manufactured goods with the exception of it being a component of a demonstration or workshop. This means no multi-level marketing booths, hand made goods only.
Once we receive your application and upon acceptance we will send you an acceptance email from
mindenmakersfair@gmail.com, agreement, and details on how to proceed with payment. Payment will be due by or before September 17th.
There will be absolutely NO REFUNDS once payment has been made but please let us know if you need to cancel attending our event. Please note we will follow CDC & Louisiana guidelines in regard to COVID restrictions please understand it is possible this may impact our event. If the event is cancelled we will issue no refunds but your payment can go towards our next event.
Applications will close when all slots are filled.
Spaces ARE limited, if there are duplicate goods we will defer to the first applicant.
The times of Minden Maker's Fair are 11 AM until 4 PM on Saturday, October 15th.
Please ensure you can be ready to sell your goods by 11 AM and able able to commit to NOT packing until 4 PM. We want to ensure our vendors are able to commit to these times.
As stated by the state of Louisiana “A work of art is tax exempt (from parish taxes) if it is sold from an established location within a cultural district and it is: a. original; b. one-of-kind, except as further defined in Paragraph 2 below; c. visual art; d. conceived and made by hand of the artist or under his direction; and not intended for mass production. 2. Examples of eligible media and products include: a. visual arts and crafts, including but not limited to drawing, painting, sculpture, clay, ceramics, fiber, glass, leather, metal, paper, wood, or mixed media, installation art, light sculpture, digital sculpture, and wearable art; and b. limited, numbered editions (up to 100) of lithographs, photography, silk screen, intaglios, etchings, and graphic design. 3. Examples of ineligible media and products include: a. performing art; b. food products; c. live plants, such as bonsai trees, floral arrangements, wreaths, and garland; d. music recordings; and reproductions.” Items that do not fall under the parish tax exemption may be sold with approval and acceptance by selection committee.
