ONE FORM PER DANCER (not per family)
Please read the membership commitment, complete this form and ensure attendance (member 18yrs or older) at our AGM Sunday October 1st 3pm at Evergreen Community Spaces.
APA is a non-profit association, our objective is to promote dance and performing arts in the community and develop children/youth in the field of dance, which could lead to a career in performing arts. The Association will assist students to maximize their talent, dance education, training through competitive play, exams, performance, masterclass opportunities and workshops.
Membership Commitment:
- Volunteer commitment (18yrs or older) is approx. 8-20 hours a season.
- Casino shift (every 2 years) member (min 18yrs) required to work one shift (6-8 hrs) per dancer registered. Casino is slotted for Q3 2024 date TBD.
- Dancers registered will be required to attend APA hosted events in order to receive funding from our gaming proceeds. These events include workshops, showcase/community performances and master classes all of which are included in your membership fee ($50/family).
- Fundraising is a requirement for membership. We typically run three main fundraisers (FlipGive, Bottle depot and Purdy's) each season with an optional fourth (changes year to year).
