Fairtrade International and Fairtrade Belgium are very pleased to invite you to a networking event on 6th of March in the evening. Two days ahead of the International Women’s Rights Day, we will look at the specific challenges faced by female producers in low and middle income countries, and how we can address them together.

The event will start with a panel debate, bringing together, a producer, a company representative and a policy-maker. We will discuss about the programmes and policies we can set up, together with producers, for women to improve their lives, have more control over their future, and become leaders of their communities.

Participants and speakers will then have the opportunity to mingle and continue the discussions while enjoying nice food and drinks.
