We are so excited that you want to be a part of our team! The Kids in Transit (KiT) team is part of Save the Children Lund. We work in connection with migration centres in Malmö. Our objective is to  create safe spaces for the children who are residing there to be able to express themselves through our child-centered activities.

KiT is an exciting and rewarding project where you will have the opportunity to get a broader understanding of current migration issues. As a project leader, you will, together with your colleagues, be in charge of the project management and the  planning of  activities for the children as well as for the other volunteers. We are currently unable to visit the centers due to COVID-19 and as a result, there is a lighter work load. You must be availble once a month for a project leader meeting and once a month for a meeting with the volunteers. When activities resume, you must be available for two-three days per month from 16:30 until 19:30, to attend the centre with a group of volunteers. You also need to be available every 4 weeks for a project leaders meeting, where you will discuss how the project is going, what can be improved, and eventual workshops and lectures to be organised.

Please note that you must be in Lund for at least a year to be eligible for this position.
