My staff and I are excited about our 12th year of camp. All campers will receive a camp T-shirt. Parents may buy an extra T-shirt for $10. Many fundamentals such as ball-handling, shooting, passing, and defense will be taught in our drills each day. Teamwork and discipline will be emphasized during team play. The camp will be for boys and girls entering K – 8th grade next year. Registration cost is $60 per child and $40 for each additional family member. Camp will begin at 8:00 am on Wednesday, May 22nd- Friday, May 24th. Anyone can sign-up at the door. Extra applications can be picked up at Metter High School, Metter Middle School, and online at the Metter High school website. Coach William Altman – Camp Director
Coach Altman is excited about this year’s camp. With over 70 campers at last year’s camp, he is looking forward to another great turnout this year! Coach Altman has directed ten camps at Long Co. High School, Glennville Middle School, and Richmond Hill High School. He worked as a camp staff member for Rick Bolus’s High Potential Blue Chip camp in Kentucky for 12 years. He is excited about basketball, and he would like to encourage many of our youth to become involved in this exciting and fun game. He believes that by implementing the fundamentals of basketball, our youth can achieve a better awareness of the game and become more successful as future TIGERS!!
Coach Terrence Greene – Counselor
Coach Greene is currently the Metter Middle School Boys basketball coach. Coach Greene has coached the middle school boys for the past three seasons, ending his most recent with an undefeated season and a region title. Coach Greene is passionate about basketball and working with our future Tigers!
Coach Cassandra Donaldson - Counselor
Coach Donaldson is our Head Girl’s coach at the high school. Prior to coaching the high school team, she led the Middle School Girls team to back to back Southeast Georgia Middle School League Championships. She is excited about the opportunity of working with our future Tigers!
