Quick ozfortress Website User Survey
We won't bury the lead. We're looking to work heavily on bringing new features to the ozfortress website in the next year or two, along with a fresh new look for the website. We won't commit to having everything done this year, but we do plan to have something to show you.

We have a small list of goals, features and commitments we are aiming to bring to you regardless of the feedback you submit below. So what are we planning? Well:
  • Improved mobile browser experience. This won't be limited to just ozfortress.com, but docs.ozfortress.com could see potential improvements and perhaps even integrations with our main website.
  • Complete redesign of the website. There are a lot of problems that likely bug anyone from the year 2024, and that's ok - it's had its day, but it's time for a refresh.
  • It won't just be us hosting competitions in the future. We haven't announced this publicly, so surprise? We want to enable those who organize and host great TF2 competitions within Oceania and Asia. We have no interest in competing with or replacing any existing services, but if you have ever tried to run a tournament in the past, you likely came across challenge after challenge. We already have a lot of users signed up to our website, so to us - it just makes sense.
We have ambitions to create new and engaging competitions, events and experiences in 2024 and beyond, but first, we need to lay the groundwork and figure out what to tackle. This survey will be invaluable for us, as your feedback will directly influence where we place our time and effort.

Generally, how often are you interacting with our website on a mobile browser? *
We're looking to collect some data on how many users actually use our website on a mobile browser, as we don't run any trackers that would give us these metrics.
Are there any areas of ozfortress.com currently where it is difficult to use the mobile browser version?
Do you personally care for dark mode or light mode? *
We won't commit to making a theme toggle, but with a redesign on the horizon, we may see a move towards a hybrid or potentially darker overall theme for the website, so we want to see just how light mode hating our community is.
If official matches were automated to a point where the only responsibilities your team had were to organize a day/time, book a server and input one command, would you prefer that to the current "ecosystem"? *
This is a bit of a loaded question, but if all you had to type in in-game chat was !setup, then that server would be linked to your match page, submitting logs/demos/scores for you, would you want it sooner rather than later? It should be noted that if this were to be implemented, you would likely be able to book a server pre-setup for your official match, but that would be a feature to come later.

We are looking to eventually implement something of the sort, but we are trying to gauge how much players really want it and where to prioritize/place our time. Don't worry, like most of the boomers will know, server providers come and go, but we are aiming to make this feature work with any server that is setup correctly.
Excluding dark mode, are there any features you would like to see? Doesn't matter how big or small.
Most of what is suggested here will be secondary to what we've asked about above, but we will definitely look to implement features that make sense.
