Freelance Worker Protection Act: A Celebration

Freelance Worker Protection Act: A Celebration

Thursday, June 15, from 6 to 8 pm | Middle Brow Bungalow, 2840 W Armitage Ave

Join us as we celebrate the passage of state legislation protecting freelance workers from non-payment. Happy hour organized by State Rep. Will Guzzardi's Office & the Freelance Solidarity Project (National Writers Union). Appetizers included. Drinks will be available for purchase. All freelance workers welcome, but space in the venue is limited. Please RSVP so we know how many folks to expect.

-Mandatory contracts

-30-day payment terms

-Payment agreement protections

-Anti-retaliation
