In 2018, Governor Charlie Baker signed into law a Bond Bill which totaled over $3 Billion in spending in the Commonwealth. In that Bond Bill the Town of Bernardston was awarded $1 Million to improve or construct a fire station in town. Now over three years later, after many runarounds and ignored emails and phone calls, the One Million Dollars appears to be unavailable. Bernardston's Fire Department responds to First Alarms in 18 towns in our region. Please show your support for our Fire Station, our Fire Department and let Governor Baker know that the Town of Bernardston needs what was promised, and signed off on, by the Governor of the Commonwealth!
