Hver tirsdag i butikken vår i Oslo fra 17:00 til 20:00, får du muligheten til å teste ut mange spennende mindre kjente rollespill. Ingen forkunnskaper trengs. Både veteraner og nybegynnere er velkomne!
Deltageravgiften på 50,- betales før spillstart. Avgiften går til kompensasjon i form av digitale gavekort til spillederne.

Keep on The Outlands - Old School Essentials

Amidst the shadowed and untamed frontiers of the Outlands, a solitary keep stands resolute, defying the relentless hordes of chaos. Valiant adventurers venture forth, drawn to this ancient stronghold by the allure of fame, adventure, and riches. Do you possess the fortitude and courage to confront the terrors of the legendary Outlands?

We will run a campaign in Old School Essentials every other Tuesday. The game will be set in a hex-map filled with several missions, dungeons and bounties, inspired by the classic D&D module Keep on the Borderlands. Your team will decide what you want to pursue for the session. When the 3 hours are up your team returns to the Keep to gain XP.

Before you arrive: Create and print up to 3 characters (we can print for you if you send us the PDF) old-school style with the free basic rules (or advanced if you have those) or with the character generator below before joining the game. Advanced classes are allowed, but not the Carcass Crawler ones. Also no separate race and class due to simplicity. If you don't have a character ready you you will get to choose a pre-generated one.

Every session will end back at the keep (home base) where you will be awarded XP.

The Keep is in ruins when the campaign starts, but it can be upgraded with gold donated by the party, and this will benefit players in other sessions. Want the cranky old wizard to carry magic scrolls in Ye Olde Magic Shoppe? Help him start up his business with a little funding!

1 player will be the designated mapper for the session. If we have 6+ players a player will be designated caller for the session. See description of these tasks below.

We will keep all the character sheets (they live at the keep for free), so if you decide to join again later you can play the same character.

Time between sessions is in real-time, so if there's a month since you last played, a month has passed in the game world. You will be awarded 10 XP for every IRL day that has passed between sessions.

The Mapper - The mapper's job is to draw out, on graph or hex paper, a map of the dungeon or wilderness being explored, according to the DM's description.

The Caller - The Caller's job is to keep track of what the party is doing and relay this information to the DM. The caller never does this during combat. The caller essentially acts as a "commit button" for the players to the DM.
