Submit your interest in doing an artist talk during our July Art Educators' Lounge session on July 24 (9-10am PST / 12-1pm EST). We have room for 5 presenters per session and will fill spots on a first come, first served basis. We will try to accommodate all artists who are interested in sharing and may open up additional sessions if needed.

If you're not ready to present, but would like to join us in community and offer feedback, stay tuned! We will be sharing the Eventbrite information for all artists to attend closer to the date of the event.

What is an Artist's Talk?
A semi-formal presentation of your work, sometimes including your process and influences as an artist. This is a way to share more context for your work.

What are the expectations for this Artist's Talk?
Each artist will have 5 minutes plus a few minutes for Q&A, so these are very brief. You should create a slideshow to share images of your work, process, inspiration, or anything relevant. You can prepare a script ahead of time to read or more casually discuss your work and process as you share images.

The goal is to offer a supportive environment in which to practice talking about your work and presenting your work. We will share helpful feedback and encouragement after your talk.
