Gallagher Western MT Scholarship
Thank you for your interest in the Missoula College W.J. Gallagher Scholarship! The purpose of the W.J. Gallagher Scholarship is to provide scholarships to high school seniors and incoming Missoula College freshmen from Western Montana. General awards for this scholarship are $500 and will be posted to your UM student bill if you are a selected recipient. These funds can be used to cover a significant portion of expenses for tuition, fees, and/or book expenses.

Eligibility Requirements:

To be eligible for this scholarship students must be attending or taking classes through the Missoula College or UM Bitterroot during the 2024 - 2025 academic year. Additionally, students must be one of the following:

  1.  A Western Montana High School Senior during the 2024-2025 academic year. 
  2.  A Western Montana Homeschool student who will be graduating in 2024 and who will be taking at least one dual enrollment course through Missoula College. 
  3.  A freshman at Missoula College or UM Bitterroot who graduated from or completed their HiSet or Homeschool program in 2024 and who are from Western Montana.
