Smoke-Free NKY Petition

NKY deserves the right to breathe smoke-free air.

  • Northern Kentucky has among the highest smoking rates in both the region and the nation, and by just living in Northern Kentucky, our neighbors and our children have a higher chance of being diagnosed with and dying from cancer. NKY can and must do better.

  • 81% of Northern Kentucky voters support smoke-free policies in all workplaces, such as restaurants, and bars, including e-cigarettes.

  • Everyone deserves to live in cleaner, safer, and healthier communities. Implementing a smoke-free ordinance covering all workplaces and public places would protect everyone's right to breathe clean smoke-free air.

I urge City Council Members to implement a smoke-free ordinance to make our town a safer and healthier place to grow up, work, and live.
