This form is act as an application for the 2022 tournament but will not be the formal registration, so no payment is due at this time. We will be following up with our applicants by May 15th.
The primary intention of the S.S.I.C is to host a Pro level tournament in Canada on Aug 5th-8th (Friday to Monday). Depending on interest we would consider including other divisions upon formal review of interest levels.
We have enough have a 4 day window where we can fit in a tournament that does not impact our league play or playoffs annually.
Accommodation:
We have secured a hotel partnership with the Grand Villa Casino and Suites in Burnaby BC.

The retail room rate for this weekend is $215-245 per night, so our groups will receive a $50 per night discount. We have 80 rooms reserved as of now. The hotel includes a casino, theatre, and 2 gourmet restaurants and one of the most well rated buffet in Vancouver.

All divisions will win Trophies, Hats and other swag provided by sponsors.
Travel Arrangements:
We are working with a travel agency located on North Vancouver and can help coordinate flights if requested. All payments and communication will be directed to the travel agency.
Airports:
Vancouver International (Richmond, BC) about 30 minute commute to hotel by car.
Abbotsford International (Abbotsford, BC) about 60 minute commute to hotel by car.
Arena:
Located in Lynn Valley (North Vancouver), BC. Our facility is a NHL sized rink with Ice Court tiles owned by our Association. The rink has a spectator capacity of about 500 people and we are hoping to fill it. The arena also has a gym and pool and is short walk or drive to a local mall and other activities.
