Each year the community in Jersey City Heights partners with the Riverview Farmers’ Market and local artist Santiago Cohen to create and build giant puppets for an annual celebration of the Mexican tradition Dia de Los Muertos.

Due to restrictions in place for COVID-19, we will be making adjustments to ensure the health and safety of the community. This year, organizers will provide kits for members of the public to make puppets, head masks, and banners at home. Please note that you will be responsible for using your own paint.
