Horsemanship Over Obstacles, May 28-29, 2022 at Flying P Ranch, Gilroy, CA
Whether you are new to the wonderful world of obstacles or struggling with them, join Dana De Frates, Brandi Lyons Certified Clinician, for two days and learn how to train your horse to navigate any obstacle you come across and benefit from the increased trust and confidence that working obstacles using horsemanship will bring to your partnership. With the potential for over 50 different obstacle options across our 1.25 acre obstacle park, there is no shortage of challenges for you to master.

In this clinic, we start on the ground learning the horsemanship skills that will allow us to tackle any obstacle safely and progress from there. This clinic is also a prerequisite for our Advanced Obstacle Clinics.

Suitable for both in-hand and in-saddle participation. In other words, you do not need to be able to ride to benefit from this clinic!

Self serve overnight paddocks are available the day before, through the day after the clinic. They are outdoor, 12’x16’ pipe paddocks. Cost is $15/night and you will need to provide feed and bedding if desired. You will be responsible for feeding, cleaning & removal of all bedding before check out. Paddocks do not have water buckets so please bring your own but don’t worry about filling them up, we have hoses to reach all paddocks. If you are signing up for an overnight paddock, Dana will reach out to confirm dates.
I would like to bring two horses if space allows - Dana please reach out to me to discuss. *
Help us prevent the spread of EHV-1 by giving us more information about where your horse will be living at the time of your clinic. This information will allow us to group horses of similar risk levels together in overnight paddocks and in clinic activities. *
If your horse lives at a boarding facility, please tell us which one.
Will anyone who keeps their horse at the same facility as yours be joining you for this clinic? If yes, please give us their name(s).
I will use the following payment method to pay my $50 deposit and I understand that my spot is not secured until my deposit is received. *
